Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute and the supply chain industry are undergoing tremendous change and we are looking for leaders who can help contribute to our organization and who can assist with building the future of supply chain in Canada.

A position on one of the Institute’s committees offers individuals an opportunity to contribute to the Association’s mission and vision and to advance the supply chain management profession in Ontario.

The Ontario Institute is now accepting nominations to fill the following committee positions listed below. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, November 5, 2021

Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute, Ethics Committee (1 vacancy)

The Ethics Committee reviews and determines the appropriate response to ethical complaints received regarding Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute Members and CSCMP designation holders in accordance with the applicable Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute policies and procedures. This includes matters related to the discipline, suspension and expulsion of members and to defending the CSCMP (Certified Supply Chain Management Professional) designation. Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute, Finance & Audit Committee (1 vacancy)

The primary function of the Finance & Audit Committee is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities related to the quality and integrity of financial reporting and control systems. To view the Terms of Reference, please click here.

Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute, Governance & Nominating Committee (1 vacancy) 

The primary function of the Governance & Nominations Committee is to advise the Board on matters relating to the Institute’s governance structure and processes, evaluation of the board’s effectiveness, education and evaluation of board members. In addition, they ensure that the Institute’s Board of Directors and Committees are composed of persons sufficiently qualified and skilled to provide effective leadership to the Institute. Supply Chain Canada, Ontario Institute, Member Engagement Committee (1 vacancy)

The primary function of the Member Engagement Committee is to oversee that the Institute has developed and is successfully executing a plan to achieve membership engagement goals as outlined in the strategic plan. To view the Terms of Reference, please click here.

Do I need to be a member to apply to be on a committee?

Applicants are not required to be Supply Chain Canada members to apply to be on an Ontario Committee; however, it is highly encouraged.

Do I need to reside in Ontario to apply?

Yes applicants must reside in Ontario to be eligible to apply.
